I photograph adoptable dogs and write the social posts that travel with them — names, quirks, the way they lean into a hand. The goal is simple: more eyes, better photos, faster homes.
A lot of shelter photos are hurried. I try to make each dog look like someone you’d cross a room for. Swap in your real social captions anytime — the names are already theirs.
I’m a high school student who learned photography by wandering around with a camera and refusing to go home until the light got interesting. I care about honest pictures more than perfect ones.
Outside of school I volunteer time toward dog adoption: photographing dogs, writing captions, and posting so they don’t get lost in a feed. If a portrait can get a dog out of a kennel, that’s the best use of a shutter I know.
